Announcing the Kim Cochran Scholarship Endowment
O’Connell Robertson has endowed a scholarship at St. Edward’s University in memory of William Kimsey “Kim” Cochran. As Chief Operating Officer/Co-CEO, he was a huge force behind our mission driven approach through creative problem solving and design that would positively impact our communities. Kim made an indelible mark on the O’Connell Robertson family throughout his 26-year tenure.
Kim was a two-time graduate of St. Edward’s University in Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management and was a believer in “the power of education.”
With care and expertise, he oversaw construction administration of O’Connell Robertson’s projects during a period of significant growth at the firm. He took great pride in the firm’s design of academic buildings, multi-million dollar university athletics complexes, clinics and hospitals.
In communities throughout Texas, these projects remain visible reminders of Kim’s leadership and good work. At St. Edward’s University, O’Connell Robertson’s gift of The William Kimsey Cochran BBA ’05, MBA ’07 Endowed Scholarship is a perpetual tribute to Kim’s life and legacy, as it will support generations of deserving business students.
