Jarrell Middle School was designed to support a student population of 480 students, with core facilities to support future growth of up to 600 students. Key design goals included a secure entry vestibule through the main office, an iconic, highly visible main entrance to aid in wayfinding and identification of the new facility, and natural light in every classroom. A new gym with locker rooms and supporting athletic spaces were provided as well as a cafetorium with a multi-use central stage.
