This 188,000 SF multi-phased renovation transformed the traditional feeling of a community college as a commuter campus, into a vibrant and inviting environment aligned with student needs that encourages them to make it their home.
The Moody Learning Center underwent multi-year, multi-phased renovations to 188,000 SF of space consisting of classrooms, computer labs, meeting rooms, offices, student counseling, veteran and disability outreach programs, coffee bar, technology helpdesk, and the campus TV studio – all during ongoing operations on other floors. The seven-story building also houses the main campus library, where – through established goals – the design helped to create a central campus location that encourages student interaction and collaboration.
