The Santikos Micronaut Center is a dynamic new facility combining early childhood education with immersive STEM learning for children from Pre-K through elementary school. The Micronauts program is where young learners embark on a simulated mission to the International Space Station. Students will receive an authentic and engaging introduction to science, technology, engineering, and math, provided through an inviting, safe, and interactive facility for children, students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The space also includes an outdoor learning and play area for visiting children.

Adjacent to this new facility, completed as the first phase of design and construction, a new 5 level pre-cast parking garage was completed to serve this developing corner of the college. The Micronauts Center was designed in conjunction with the connected Early Childhood Center, which includes 8 classrooms with sinks, administrative suite, food prep kitchen, changing stations at infant classrooms, restrooms with child height fixtures at Toddler and Pre-K classrooms, and collaborative spaces including a Reading area, library collection and Multipurpose classroom.
